Sister and her kiddos are in the road now. They came over today for Mother's Day, and our mom decided she wanted it to be a "no devices" day so we could all be sociable. A good plan, but the 4 kids being completely without phones or tablets meant it got fucking loud at times, and I had to go out on the porch for a break from the noise. The AuDHD life means knowing your limits on overstimulating things and how to politely handle things when you're at your limit.
