@mayintoronto@beige.party Part of it was just grad school: I read a lot of books on a lot of topics so I have lots of little bits of eclectic, somewhat-useful knowledge. But the other thing that helps is just reading calls for pitches; it usually sparks a “oh, maybe I have a story here”
