Now he is in jail. Crying. We were trying to fight deportation legally. Now the stat's deportation agency simply advanced the date by one week and the lawyers say that they see no chance anymore.
Oh, the lawyers. I talked with so many of them. A bunch of them are brave and great people. I worry about their emotional wellbeing.
Imagine working with people in deportation detention as clients. Low success rate. Horrible biographies. So much injustice. Every day.

His wife just called me,asking whether I think that it is a good idea that se visits him with their 4 year old daughter to say goodbye. (he has severe psychological issues and is unstable, so it is possible that it could be an even more traumatic experience for the littl girl) I believe it is important and I hope that it works out.
