Bad enough that more than once, deluded individuals had perfectly good trees cut down to build a full-size replica of the Ark / saw the chance to run a tourist trap, & all tax-free! You'd think that for the sheer wastefulness, God wouldn't permit it. Honestly, because we were the way God made us - all the other land animals died too, where did all that freshwater go - physics - and finally Noah's daughters molest him, to keep the race going? Even as metaphor (?) it breaks down somewhere, no ?
