My reaction to the Ai art thing makes perfect sense. Not cuz Ai is Satan with a render farm nor that every algo comes dipped in baby blood, but cuz I spent years learning how to actually make something.
Anatomy, composition, pacing, storytelling, panel flow, visual rhythm, design language. All the invisible work civvies think just leak out of you after enuff caffeine, trauma.& unpaid rent.
6 years, 3 graphic novels.

Definitely not dabbling, nor "content." That's monk work, digging a cathedral out of your own rib cage one panel at a time. Esp with something philosophical, mythological, where the art is the worldview wearing skin. Then someone drops in from the sky with a sack of autobiographical pain & feeds it into the machine, staples some ai images to it, pukes out multiple books in record time & stands in public wearing the twin crowns of Artist & Martyr. Naturally my eye starts twitching.
