@lumiworx@mastodon.social @hellomiakoda@pdx.social Honestly, if your car stereo is as low-end as you say then the #Apple #headphone adapter might be good enough. It would certainly be cheaper, and it would run cooler. On an Android phone at least, it seems to use the cheap and grotty #DAC that's built into the phone — yes, USB C carries analogue audio — but, for a cheap stereo in a noisy location, that might not matter. As before, you'd feed the output into an FM transmitter of your choice; there seem to be plenty on offer.
