@hellomiakoda@pdx.social I had looked for something similar 2 years ago for a friend to use, and ended up with one of these. They're close to your target, but don't use USB-C, but a 3.5mm audio output - assuming that your phone/device has one. The issue might be in finding one in new condition versus used. They're on ebay, but I couldn't find them elsewhere. Belkin TuneCast One of several models: https://www.belkin.com/support-article/?articleNum=316964

@lumiworx@mastodon.social @hellomiakoda@pdx.social If your phone has no 3½mm jack socket then you could use a cheap USB C headphone adapter and plug the FM transmitter into that. The big downside is that, rather than charging the phone, this combination would discharge it. I have a couple of Jade KA11 DACs. They're great for mid-range headphones, not quite good enough for a decent hifi, but more than good enough for feeding an FM transmitter and listening to it in the car. Cheapest place I found them was Ali Express. You don't need the Android app, and I haven't installed it. (The reason I bought two is that my old KA1 fell apart after being repeatedly plugged and unplugged, and I wanted to prevent that from happening again. The KA11 doesn't have the same sound quality, but I needed something cheap in a hurry, and I can upgrade later.)
