*** G7 Data Protection Authorities Roundtable - Paris 2026 *** G7 of Data protection and Privacy authorities gathered in Paris on 25-26 June, hosted by the @cnil under the French G7 Presidency. @Supervisor Wojciech Wiewiorowski took part in this high-level roundtable, which focused on the protection of minors online, emerging technologies, and international enforcement cooperation. Two key documents were adopted: ✅ Statement on privacy-preserving age assurance calling for purpose limitation, privacy by design, and data minimisation ✅ Joint paper on connected home devices and children's data protection. Discussions also covered agentic AI, smart glasses, and the growing challenges posed by automated decision-making.
