@ana@starlite.rodeo @quixoticgeek@social.v.st Old enough to remember when developers wrote code that they baked into ROMs that didn't need to be updated. Technologically primitive compared with today's offerings sure, but it just worked and was simple enough that bugs were found more quickly and usually had less of an impact. Happy days. But here I am looking at all this wondrous stuff on a slab of glass, metals and plastics and thinking, naah I'd rather not go back. 🌹🖍️👓
