From Mars, the Psyche spacecraft can stream ultra‑high‑definition video to Earth, but all we get is bad-quality still images. In a better world, NASA would be like open-source software, allowing anyone in the world to examine all data sent to Earth. NASA is publicly funded by taxpayers, so why not?
