@zanchey@aus.social A really sad thing is that with the current ongoing AI enshitifIcation of Google, Bing is now in practice the less annoyed search engine to use.
Come on Microsoft. You need to try harder.

@zanchey@aus.social Just checked. The Google search engine appears to have dropped AI as the default. Have they been eavesdropping? EDIT: Things are a bit more complicated. The Google search engine does not now give you AI generated slop for all queries. But for some queries you get it. It would be nice to specifically ask for AI stuff rather than leaving the choice to the search engine.
