Oh! I think I know what you mean now. Yes, there are sometimes multiple Communities with the same name on different instances, but they are actually separate Communities that happen to have the same name. e.g. there are multiple "Mathematics" Communities. You would think that they'd make it that there can only be one, but apparently not 🙄

@0x0@hachyderm.io @profoundlynerdy@bitbang.social P.P.S. there's nothing stopping you from subscribing to 2 Communities of the same name on different instances - just might get a bit confusing knowing which one you were having which conversation in, that's all 🙂
