@europlus@social.europlus.zone Nice. more of a font that a font_format_ but nice to see nevertheless. I see that you have provided the font in many formats (yay!); are any of those your favourite?
And btw your occluded counter problem (in the /O and so on) was probably _winding_ direction. In a modern OTF the two contours of the /O have to wind in opposite directions. It's possible that earlier software did something different when they were in the same direction.

@drj@typo.social yes, I think I tried different windings, but it is a while ago :) That was a very common issue in FreeHand (which I used extensively) compound paths. FreeHand shared an underlying engine with Fontographer, the software I created my fonts in, as they were developed by the same company. The ”font [originally] encoded in ROM” was what I was considering as the “format”, rather than my recreation of it. The OpenEmulator project emulated the interface card’s operation, so would be a more accurate recreation of the original “format” :)
