What about IBM proprinter vertical dot matrix fonts? Weird format, since you couldn't put a dot in the same row in consecutive columns.

@microblogc@neopaquita.es ah yes, basically all the 9-pin printers were like that. It is an interest of mine https://drj11.itch.io/norma-font (plus other works in progress). So are they in a stable font file format then? Could be handy to know about.
