@SteveWatson@ottawa.place I think in most places where balcony solar has been approved, the regulations limit it to something like 800W for the reason you mention. That's maybe 4 panels. It's not as good as having a proper roof setup where you can sell electricity to the utility when you aren't using it, but still it seems that after several years it pays for itself in lower electrical bills. And since there's no electrical installation, in can be used by renters, and taken with them when they move.
