The argument for prediction markets as a polling measure is insane to me... The only money I would personally ever put in a prediction market is as on something I think is UNLIKELY, as a hedge. I'm 90% sure Democrats will win next US elections (hopefully forever) but I'll put money on the republicans just so that, if they won, at least I'll have extra money to help during the imminent civil war
