@ltratt@mastodon.social Interesting article. But what actually surprised me the most is the performance difference, even before your JIT, between Lua and micropython. It is huge!

@antopatriarca@mathstodon.xyz I have come to be a huge admirer of PUC Lua: it's incredibly well written. It's intimidating in style, but one of the most thoughtful, beautiful codebases I've ever looked at.
