@freya@social.highenergymagic.net @hailey@hails.org docker works, podman doesn't (but i don't trust docker's rootful daemon, and docker's rootless mode isn't very useful for this workload)

@freya@social.highenergymagic.net @hailey@hails.org every time I complain about this I have to go through the exact same conversation with some container enthusiast who hasn't tried to set up the thing I want to set up (Forgejo Actions runner) in a reasonably secure manner and it's so unbelievably tiring, the misplaced confidence
