@solarpunk2050@dice.camp agreed! Capitalism already captured the aesthetics of #cyberpunk while denying it's meaning and the same thing is happening to #solarpunk :neofox_scream_angry:
Solarpunk is about exploring what a post-degrowth society can look like (whether that degrowth is active or forced), it's not about solar power feeding the same unsustainable consumer economy.
The worst irony is people posting synthetic images on that tag.

@quinze@corteximplant.com the people dream the solarpunk dream. And use the simplest tool available. But the ai slop only generates images of PV, cows and trees on houses. Let's create some width and depth to solarpunk. And lots of variants. There is not only one solarpunk flavour.
