@newry@mastodon.ie Totally - the two spaces thing is mind-boggling.
I'm due to an event in Athlone tomorrow - would have been seamless if I could have brought my bike with me, but there was no space available on the return journey, so now it's some kind of logistical nightmare to get from the train station to the venue.
And I use my bike as a mobility aid, so there's added stress now.

@clickhere@mastodon.ie on our Belfast Dublin line you have the added fun of not knowing if the train is the Enterprise (plenty of space), NI railways one, or Irish Rail 2 space (which you can’t book)
