On every other route, there are two spaces on the train (afaik), and no commuter trains around Dublin permit bikes during commuter times (🥴) - and all subject to the discretion of rail staff on the day. And if you want to park your bike at the station, it's either park at a Sheffield stand (=stolen bike) or rent a locker for a year for €100+ (wtf).
