This provides a grim look at the near future of the world. Fully autonomous, AI driven warfare won't be just a thing of wars. On the contrary , it will affect the lives of innocent people thousands of miles away from any "official warzone": the existence of a black market of arms dealers means cartels everywhere will eventually get their hands on these devices, which will only lead to an escalation of violence and police repression.
