@feditips@mstdn.social That's a weakness. If users want to see everything posted by an account they follow, they should not need to find that account's profile page and go looking.
Especially for time sensitive matters and events. If I follow someone specifically to see their posts about a news event, I want to see them in my timeline, along with posts from the other accounts I follow for the same reason.

@Corb_The_Lesser@mastodon.social Just to be clear, the Home timeline will show all posts from all the people you follow. The above conditions are only about which replies you see in the Home timeline. I think the idea of the conditions is to avoid potentially irrelevant replies clogging up the timeline? If someone replies a lot to people you're not interested in, that might dilute the relevancy of the timeline?
