"Claude “uses functional emotions—patterns of expression and behavior modeled after human emotions, which are driven by underlying abstract representations of emotion concepts". I don't think emotions are driven by underlying abstract representations of emotion concepts. For emotions you first need feelings, from a body, I presume. So Claude cannot develop something like emotions.
