I'm not sure whether the GNOME folks are willing to put this in the Settings app or whether it's more of a Tweaks thing? (clarification welcome!!!) but it barely takes any time to just enable it once and move on. honestly I could probably learn to live without it. but I would just flip the switch and be happy (or not have to do anything depending on what Ubuntu does here) so this all just feels like a massive fuss over misinformation
