@suearcher@toot.wales @teabynameteabynature@cupoftea.social @Whiskeyomega@cupoftea.social wow I was considering / being considered as a potential local authority councillor here in Scotland some years ago... they do get a salary, augmented if you join various committees, but it's low, well less than minimum wage if you actually take it seriously and put the hours in. and as I worked for the local authority I'd also need to quit my job
