@Njord@zeroes.ca I'd say I'm Person of Scotland: born in England, but have lived here most of my life. Yet Scottish citizenship isn't a thing yet. When it is, I'll probably apply for it. But to my mind, residency is the main thing. Participation. Where your home is, where you work or study, where you pay taxes, where you vote. All citizenship is is paperwork recording a *right* to residency that can't be easily removed. Some backward countries use it for voting rights too I suppose.
