More than 16 years ago I bought an FM transmitter kit from some Polish website. I never managed to hook it up since it required a 12V DC power supply and the manual was only in Polish. A few days ago I found out that the drinking water fountain of my cat has a 12V AC power supply and I had an idea to make an AC-DC converter using a diode bridge and a DC voltage regulator. Good news - I managed to get the power supply to work on a breadboard. But then later I discovered that the coil for the FM transmitter is broken. A new rabbit hole has been opened…
