@jake4480@c.im Yeah I'm 42 and grew up on radio so it's never left for me. It definitely helps to work in the industry. But in 20 years I've seen a steady decline :( We used to bill hundreds of dollars and have waitlists for advertisers for one station, but now our rates are in the lower double-digits (unless you buy premium ad time), and we don't waitlist anything, we just add time/inventory.

@srgower@ottawa.place oh wow. You're in radio, eh? That's cool! I mean, I just realized now, there's a TON more internet radio, which was just in its infancy a few years ago. What radio type thing do you work for?
