If a married man has some side action, we say he has a "Mistress". If a married woman has some side action, we say she has a "_____"? "Mister"? Is there a comparable word in (American) English? For those outside the US*, do you have a comparable word in your language? Or is this just some sexist linguistic oversight assuming assuming women may not choose to adventure outside of marriage? Note: I am not judging behavior, just looking for a linguistic answer.
