For the last few months I've been seeing a solo pigeon on the window ledge of the house across and it brings me to tears. A bit over a year ago our neighbours cut down all the trees in their backyard. It changed everything, especially the homes of these two pigeons. So they resorted to sitting on this window ledge. They snuggled together, pushed into each other. Smoosh. And then I only saw one. A solo pigeon. And it made me bawl. I kept seeing just one, and bawling. Anyway today there were two once again so I just wanted to share about staring at pigeons delusionally anthropomorphising them while crying is a feature in my life currently. War is the worst! Stop that now. 💕
