@alexglow@chaos.social It has a pronoun you can use for explicitness: is/ea/id. But in this case, as @Legit_Spaghetti@mastodo.neoliber.al, there is also the group hic(/haec/hoc), iste and ille for "this one here / myself", "that one next to me" (often negative, as in "he did it!") and "that one over there", of which the ring would probably be a "hoc".

Sounds like there isn't an equivalent to the Spanish "-lo" suffix, but hey, that's how languages be sometimes. That being the case, it does seem a lot smoother replacing the "keep" entirely with verbs that capture the meaning, as suggested with "Abscondĕ hoc, prōtĕgĕ hoc". Appreciate the insights :)
