@alexglow@chaos.social Can you recommend a resource to learn reading Tengwar? I tried matching your writing with the characters shown on the site that is the top search-result for "elvish script" but I failed miserably

Gonna do a video with some live-writing & other info (this was actually a test for that setup), but, quick answer: - There are a TON of ways to write (and thus read) Tengwar: https://www.wikihow.com/Write-Tengwar - I learned from the book "The Languages of Tolkien's Middle-Earth", by Ruth S. Noel - This is what I taught myself at the time; I place tehtar on the *following* consonant, or with a carrier, which I think was described as Quenya mode? - Now digging deeper, w/ primary sources :D
