My feelings on the #Blender situation are mixed. #Anthropic is clearly just trying to get some good PR. Though it sucks to see Blender taking money from a company built on theft, I won't pretend to know better. Financing opensource isn't easy. It's a balancing act. I guarantee you, giving them the #twitterhatemob experience on mastodon isn't going to magically change things back. That's not how things work. If you have a problem with Blender, fork the project. It's opensource.
