@mwichary@mastodon.online In the early days of macos X there was a terminal app which emulated old green + amber terminals, complete with flickering lines and distortions. A bit like the AnalogTV app mentioned earlier. And one of the nicest screensavers was the “melting screen”, where a snapshot of your current screen would ‘melt away’ until black.
