My three year old this morning, in the middle of singing an improvised song about a little monster that was sick but got better: "Papa, can you sing along?" "Well, ok, but how does the song go?" She looks at me slightly puzzled, as if I asked something so obvious that she struggles with my stupidity. "It goes on."
