@Batronyx@mastodon.social I think it's supposed to make the world feel interconnected and alive. In New Horizons, the only thing they remember is the name and island name, plus a handful of gifts. It's nothing really concerning Older games they could show people letters you'd written them, but those games do *explicitly* warn you about that. New Horizons seems to have taken the "better safe than sorry" approach and cut down on the ways people could accidentally reveal something private lol
