@philgyford@mastodon.social I was a bookseller in 1998 running the pop science section and I have a memory of Wired being an imprint of a bigger publisher, possibly Penguin? I don’t recognise any of those titles and this is definitely a later venture, but I thought I’d throw those tired neurone records into the mix. edit: huh, they still are an imprint. https://www.penguin.co.uk/authors/282306/wired
