Unless we wake up and realize what we’re really up against.
Another example - aside from the initial AP article about the poor people in Cuba being able to divorce themselves from said energy monopoly in small doses - is “green hydrogen” as a source of fuel.

The reason we’ve seen so so many pushes across a vast amount of industries for hydrogen to become the next source of fuel is simple: it keeps the status quo. You keep the refineries, the fuel tankers, trucks, warehouses, logistical processes, pipelines, trade routes, white collar jobs, blue collar jobs, engine designs (the list goes on almost indefinitely). Literally, the closest to what “solving climate change” would look like if we were to just keep the existing power structures.
