I have been thinking a lot about what an online mutual aid network, in the anarchist sense, would look like. I've seen the mutualaid hashtag, but that's just beings asking for donations. Nothing structured, collaborative, nor going being just money. I understand why and it's great beings are willing to donate to each other where possible. However, I think for a better long term solution, more local mutual aid networks are needed. I think an online one would just be there to facilitate communication and distribution of resources between local mutual aid networks. It would also be important for it to be decentralized and resilient. @msavoritias and I have talked about it a couple of different times, but I think an online one could also allow for more influence than what local ones can normally achieve.
