Friendly reminder: You only need k8s in your homelab if you want it, or need a job from Industrialized software. As a person who "works" at a church and finds themselves talking people through sim swaps in moving cars... All to prevent unneeded hospitalization of an elder. And who's primary tech interests include figuring out ways not to have so much damned ewaste. I find my "rack" full of old thinkpads. A poweredge from 2013 with absurdly maxed out specs, and a celaron POS for 32bit work perfectly adequate Your homelab is well a part of your home, treat it accordingly
