@BobLefridge@mastodon.nz What I see in the very near future is people using their existing devices years longer than they typically would due to higher costs. Computer and phone upgrades will happen less frequently, meaning each of those companies will likely have to go through layoffs due to reduced profits. Cellular providers will slow their expansions and signal upgrades (4G to 5G). Apple, in specific, might have to release only 1 iPhone model per calendar year, and the prices will continue on their already painful upward swing. The entire US suffers because of 1 person's desires, short sighted thoughts, and temper.
