@kewms@mastodon.social the software you are using right now is not sold and the people which are building it live from donations. my point was not about fairness but about a different culture. and btw there are artists (in a more traditional sense), which do this same business model because they don't want to sell their art, too. i am still not judging, but i am totally fine with instances that just don't want "commerce". its there choice as much is it the choice of artists to sell or not. @jenniferplusplus@tech.lgbt
