@hugh@mastodon.nz yeah, seems this is a thing. Though its new in C++ world, and for now its just a website that tries to get folks to buy tickets with their creditcards.

@meetingcpp@mastodon.online I got the invitations via email, with official-looking pdf attachments. It's useful to search for these organisations as "XXX scam"
