In case you do take the Shinkansen, make sure you reserve the luggage space. I didn’t, and in retrospect, it was a MIRACLE that the space was free ( I tried, but it was during GW)

@pizaman@famichiki.jp @osakajack@famichiki.jp this probably sounds a bit unhinged, but i'm not sure yet. maybe slowly toward nagoya? no shinkansen planned for this trip (golden week shinkansen is a Bad Idea, huh? shocking ☺). honestly put in such a minimal amount of prep that it'll be a miracle if it goes well. 🙃
