@womble@infosec.exchange some years ago, I was sitting on the couch with my wife working on a presentation she was doing. We were trying to find CO2/pax-mile of the local train, working on a common Google spreadsheet, emailing back and forth links and PDFs, and she said "wait, where did this number come from?", and I was like "p 37 of ..."
So I went to have lunch w/employer, and got a demo of a large virtual shared desktop that had web browsers and PDF and annotation and drawing, and I thought "I'd use this"...

@womble@infosec.exchange ...so I went to work on it, and once the "we're gonna explore this space and see what's possible" money ran out, we started looking at how to bring it to market and how to excite potential users, and... Hindsight is 20/20, but I should have asked for a real product plan and much more detail about what the path forward actually was. I keep trying to just be a programmer, and I'm good at it, but I need to be a product manager too. Sigh.
