I love my trackball, I really do, especially paired with a portrait-orientation monitor for scrolling long documents. What I don't like is returning to cleaning out gunk from inside every few days! Is there such a thing as a purely optical trackball? Although I remember my optical mice would build up a crust underneath over time…
