@davbucci@mastodon.sdf.org I’ve used several models from the “AmScope” brand. They work quite well and are inexpensive compared to Zeiss etc. I prefer stereo optical over camera systems because they maintain stereopsis, so you can tell the distance of tools above the work. (Most models have a camera port if you need that as well)

@rrmutt@mastodon.social @davbucci@mastodon.sdf.org I will second this. Stereo optical w/zoom is great. Give some thought to the stand/arm and how it will fit in your workspace. I really like being able to swing mine over whenever I need a closer view.
