Half of my coworker’s 1st language is Swedish, but on my floor there are also Arabic, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Kashmiri, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, & Turkish speakers. I’m super excited to have learned how to say “Good morning” to them all in their 1st language.

доброе утро was like “buy one get two free” bc even though my Bosnian, Bulgarian, and Russian coworkers all say it slightly differently, they accept my attempt. My coworker from Syria taught me to say صباحو. but my coworker from Baghdad thinks that’s too casual, so I use صباحك. with them.
