@anakin78z@mograph.social An equally interesting idea would be a D&D campaign where you have to deal with the aftermath of the previous group of adventurers. Rebuild the houses they inadvertently burned, replant the crops that they ruined, re-sanctify the graves that they desecrated. That sort of thing.

@birdwainer@infosec.exchange I think I read a short story once about the goblins that have to clean up the dungeon after adventurers tore through it. Someone has to do the dirty work...
